WKEXP 901-904 Assignments

Assignments are due one month prior to the official end of the work term (i.e., end of November, March, and July). All reports submitted on time will be graded by the end of the term.

Students may be granted a work term assignment extension by emailing the Co-op office, prior to the original deadline, outlining the reasons for such a request. Students having been granted such a request will receive a grade of INCOMPLETE until a satisfactory report is received. At that time, the grade will be changed to CREDIT if all other criteria have been satisfied. If a satisfactory report is not received by the agreed upon extended deadline, the grade will be changed to NO CREDIT.

A student who earns a grade of NO CREDIT due to not submitting a work term report is normally required to withdraw from the co-operative program and the Faculty of Engineering. (see ).

WKEXP 905 Technical Report and Technical Report Evaluation Form

Faculty-graded technical reports and employer-marked technical report evaluation forms should be submitted via Canvas prior to your final day of employment and no later than the final day of the work term (April 30, August 31, December 31).

A technical report can be graded by the employer if it contains proprietary information. In this case, the student must inform the Co-op Office as soon as possible and the employer must use the technical report evaluation form. Remember that if your employer marks your technical report, the employer-marked technical report evaluation is still due by the final day of the work term. Ensure you budget your time accordingly.
