Post a Job

To simplify on-campus recruitment, our office has transitioned to using the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ’s enterprise recruitment platform, campusBRIDGE. This change enables companies recruiting from multiple faculties on our campus to use one platform for all of their hiring activities.

1. Access campusBridge

Existing Employer Partners

If you have not previously used campusBRIDGE, as an existing employer partner of our co-op program, an account has been created for you.

Your first step will be to reset your password, using the system’s feature. Once you have done so, visit and sign in under the "Employer & Partners" tab using your email address as your login ID.

New Employer Partners

If you are new to recruiting on our campus, please follow these steps to create your campusBRIDGE account:

  1. Go to campusBRIDGE and select "Employers & Partners."
  2. Click on "Register for an Account."
  3. Fill in all relevant fields and click "Submit."
  4. Please allow 1 - 2 business days for staff to review and approve your account.
Note: After submitting your request you may be contacted for follow-up if additional information is required. If you have not received communication after 2 business days, please check your spam folder.

Once your account is verified, you will receive a message notifying you that you can start submitting job postings for approval.

2. Post Job

Please submit your job postings via the Engineering Co-op Program job board on . We recommend postings be open for 4 to 10 days. 

To post a Co-op opportunity, click “Post a Job” and select “Engineering Co-op Program.” Alternatively, you can select the “Engineering and Engineering Co-op” module in the left-hand sidebar. Select “Engineering Co-op Job Postings” and the “Post a Job” button. 

Employer Resources are available within the Engineering Co-op section that may be helpful for your first time posting a job. If you have any questions, please contact your Employer Relationship Manager or email HireEngineering@ualberta.ca.

3. Interview

We ask that employers arrange all interviews through . This enables you to create a schedule and will auto-invite your selected candidates. Please allow a minimum of 2 business days for our office to review and approve your schedule. Interviews will be conducted in-person on campus, via an employer's preferred virtual platform, or by phone. 

Note: To minimize students missing class time, off campus in person interviews are not permitted. Also, students are not required to attend interviews during scheduled semester breaks (e.g., Fall and Winter Reading weeks).

4. Offer + Hire

After completing your interviews, submit your rankings via to let us know who you would like to offer to, along with any ranked alternates. campusBRIDGE will extend offers on your behalf and students will have up to 48 hours (excluding weekends) to make a decision. Upon acceptance or decline, you will be notified immediately. Should a candidate decline the system will proceed with offering to your next ranked candidate.

Please note that all offers must be processed through the Co-op Office.

If you are unable to use campusBRIDGE for any reason, let your Employer Relationship Manager know and they will discuss alternative options.

Host Information Sessions

An information session can be an effective marketing tool if you are looking to increase your organization’s visibility with our students. Please visit the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Career Centre for more information on how to host an information session.

Candidate Briefing Sessions for Co-op Students

Interviewing a large number of engineering co-op students? Consider holding a briefing session to provide candidates with more information about your company and the position they are interviewing for. Not only is this an effective use of time, it also provides a great opportunity to interact with candidates outside of the formal interview process and to further assess their potential fit with your company. Contact your assigned Employer Relationship Manager, or email HireEngineering@ualberta.ca for assistance.
