Through conflict we have the opportunity to learn, to strengthen relationships, to solve problems, to make decisions or to set organizations on pathways to success. This course provides detailed, hands-on practical experience with various methods of managing and resolving conflict, including essential communication, mediation and negotiation skills. The course concentrates as well on assertive expression and anger management. This course will include presentations by the instructor/coaches, large-group discussions and small groups, each with a coach, in which various skills are practiced. There will be an opportunity to practice skills, share approaches and challenges, and to practice mediation and negotiation.
