Get ready for an exceptional summer! Build and improve hockey skills at our hockey camps that are tailored to various skill levels. Whether you’re a beginner or an aspiring junior prospect, we have a camp for you.
Participants in our Explore and Engage Camps will develop their skating, passing, shooting and puck-handling skills through drills and gameplay. For participants looking to compete like a Golden Bear next winter, the Excel camps offer professional coaching from current Golden Bears head coach Ian Herbers, as well as current and former players.
- Each participant will be provided with a camp practice hockey jersey
- Participants may be grouped based on age and/or current skill level
- Participants are required to wear full equipment for ice sessions and appropriate athletic clothing for off ice sessions

Excel Camps Hockey Camp Schedules

Explore Hockey Camps - Some hockey experience is expected. Participants need to be able to skate and provide their own equipment.
Engage Hockey Camps - Previous competitive minor hockey experience is required.
Excel Hockey Camps - Higher level of hockey experience expected.

FUNdamentals: Ages 6–8
Explore Camps - $470
Explore Camps are designed to introduce and build fundamental hockey skills and improve general athletic skills. Half of the camp will be spent on the ice and the other half will be dedicated to other age-appropriate multi-sport activities.
- Camps are open to all genders unless otherwise noted
- Hockey sessions will take place at Clare Drake Arena
- Some previous hockey experience is expected, the minimum expectation is participant has completed 1 year or season of a hockey program.

Engage Camps - $495
Engage Camps are designed to develop technical and tactical hockey skills. Half of the camp will be spent on the ice where participants will learn core concepts of offensive and defensive play through drills and games. The other half of the camp will be dedicated to other age-appropriate multi-sport activities.
- Camps are open to all genders unless otherwise noted
- Hockey sessions will take place at Clare Drake Arena
- A minimum of one year of competitive minor hockey experience is required

Learn-to-Train: Ages 9–11

Train-to-Train: Pandas Camps Ages U13 & U15
Session Breakdowns
Get ready for the season with the Pandas Excel Hockey Camps! Led by Pandas Hockey staff and players, this camp is designed to develop fundamental skills, game awareness, and team dynamics in a competitive and supportive environment.
Each session includes:
- 1 hour of on-ice training – Focused on skating, puck control, passing, and game situations.
- 1 hour of off-ice training – Strength, conditioning, and agility drills to enhance performance.
- 1 hour of team building & games – Develop leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
With a maximum of 25 skaters & 4 Goalies per group, athletes will receive personalized instruction and plenty of reps to refine their skills. Don't miss this opportunity to train with some of the best and prepare for the upcoming season!
Excel Camps - $400
Get ready for the season with the Pandas Excel Hockey Camps! Led by Pandas Hockey staff and players, this camp is designed to develop fundamental skills, game awareness, and team dynamics in a competitive and supportive environment.

- 30 min Power Skating / 30 min Skills / 30 min Compete (small area games)
- ONLY 28 Players - 4 Goaltenders per session
- 6:1 Player to Instructor Ratio
- GBH Head Coach Ian Herbers / former NHL Player and Coach
- Other coaches to include current GBH Players and Alumni, GBH Assistant Coaches
- 7.5 Hours of on ice instruction per week.
- All ice times at the River Cree Arenas
