PHASE 1

• Dr. Helly Goez, Assistant Dean of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) at the Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry (FoMD), is the current president of the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Academic Women's Association (AWA), an opportunity to bring crucial conversations on EDI issues.
• Collaboration with Research in Gender (RIG), Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC), and Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) to deliver institutional workshops on EDI in research.
• The FoMD's EDI office was involved in the creation of the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ's institutional EDI framework.

PHASE 2

• The Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry (FoMD) is currently collaborating with ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Health Services (AHS), the University of Calgary, the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Medical Association and the Canadian Medical Association to create a provincial framework for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) in health care.
• Dr. Helly Goez represents the FoMD in the Association of Faculties of Medicine of Canada (AFMC) and the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) Group on Diversity and Inclusion, looking at curricular approach to EDI and collaborative research.
