The Exercise is Medicine on Campus student group is proud to continue their speaker series - Moving for Medicine. With the goal of fostering collaborative relationships and leadership on campus between exercise, health and other disciplines, the group will be bringing four Moving for Medicine speaker series events over the course of the school year.
This is the second event for the PERTalks: Moving for Medicine and features Faculty of Physical Education and Recreation associate professor and Associate Dean (Graduate) Dr. Normand Boul茅 with his presentation: "Exercise for Type 2 diabetes: the good, the bad and the ugly?"
Dr. Boul茅's research program focuses on the role of exercise in preventing and managing diabetes. The majority of Dr. Boul茅's projects involve adults with type 2 diabetes and examine physiological outcomes related to glycemic control or physical fitness.
This event is open to all U黑料不打烊 staff, students and faculty, as well as the general public. A Q&A session will follow the presentations.
