Faculty of Physical Education and Recreation Exchange Opportunities

Are you ready to embark on an adventure that you will never forget? Are you ready to travel while receiving academic credits back to the U of A? If you answer is yes, then we would like to invite you to our faculty information session on Wednesday, February 4 from noon to 1pm in Van Vliet Complex - East Wing 4-240.

The information session will walk you through all the important application steps for students interested in spending a term at Palacky University Olomouc in the Czech Republic and the Norwegian School of Sport Science in Norway.

Norwegian School of Sport Science (NSSS)

NSSSS is a public university located in Oslo, Norway and was established in 1870. The NSSS faculty has a broad international network of research collaborators as well as more than 1600 students. NSSS offers a variety of courses in English and student groups that exchange students can join.


Application deadline is March 13, 2015 to go aboard in the 2015/2016 academic year.

Palacky University - Olomouc, Czech Republic

Palack媒 University in Olomouc is one of the oldest universities in Central Europe. Drawing on more than 400-year tradition of higher education it is nowadays a renowned centre for teaching and research. University attracts students from other European and overseas countries. With 24,000 undergraduate students on eight faculties, it provides quality education and excellent background for research in the wide range of academic disciplines.
