Join Reading at the Intersection Book Club on March 28 (Friday!), 10.00 – 11.00 AM, via Google Meet.

The Institute for Intersectionality Studies (IIS) invites advanced undergraduate and graduate students, as well as anyone interested in intersectionality to join our Reading at the Intersections Book Club. This monthly virtual gathering is a space to connect, exchange ideas, and explore readings that inspire critical and intersectional thinking.

For our reading group meeting this Friday, we will discuss the Introduction chapter, "Critical Race and Gender: Dialogues Between Decoloniality and Intersectionality," from , written by co-editors Shirley Anne Tate and Encarnación Gutiérrez Rodríguez.

We are excited to share that Dr. Shirley Anne Tate will join us virtually for the conversation.

To join the group, please fill out . Once we have your registration details, you will receive a Google Calendar invite with the link to connect, the PDF file of the reading and access to a Google folder with more resources.

If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to Olesya Kochkina (group facilitator): kochkina@ualberta.ca
