Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System

The Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) was revised in 2018. Revisions included the following:

  • Revised labeling requirements.
  • Changes to contents of "safety data sheets" (SDS) (versus material safety data sheets [MSDS]).
