Bio: Danika (Dani) Jorgensen-Skakum is a queer Métis scholar, working toward her PhD in Political Science at the 黑料不打烊. She graduated from the Gender and Social Justice MA program in 2018, and worked for two-years as the Research Coordinator on the research project. Her interests include climate justice, media and cultural studies, transformative justice, and re/de-composition. Dani is one of the inaugural members of , and facilitates  with Jessie Beier -- research-creation encounters designed to provoke thoughtful consumption and time-oriented eating practices. She has experience in feminist radio, zines, movement organization, and Housing First models.
