Release of SET Report
The Service Excellence Transformation (SET) Interim Report is released today. This report includes a review of the work that has been done to date on the SET program and provides the data, analysis, and rationale that informed the decisions for the new operating model. It also shares details about the next steps for SET.
Academic restructuring update: Nov 25
President Bill Flanagan and Provost Steven Dew review critical discussion at this week’s GFC and APC meetings and outline next steps in the governance recommendation and approval process.
Ask SET Anything: Support Staff Edition
On Dec 3 at 3 - 4 pm, Vice-President (University Services and Finance) Todd Gilchrist will be hosting with President Bill Flanagan and Provost Steven Dew the first of a series of events at which members of the community can ask questions and share ideas on the progress and implementation of SET. Because there have been few forums devoted specifically to support staff questions, suggestions, and concerns, the event on Dec 3 will be called: Ask SET Anything: Support Staff Edition. New administrative home for Glen Sather Sports Medicine Clinic
Over the next several months, there will continue to be changes and shifts as the U of A implements plans for academic and administrative restructuring. Today, we announce that the Glen Sather Sports Medicine Clinic will move from the Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine to Campus Services department in Facilities and Operations effective April 1, 2021.
