Enhanced Options to Contacting the Staff Service Centre

Shared Services is excited to share that the Staff Service Centre has upgraded to a new, modern phone system. While the Staff Service Centre’s phone number and hours of service have not changed, this upgrade brings key enhancements to improve your call experience:
- Know your place in line: If you need to hold when you contact the Staff Service Centre by phone, you will be informed of your position in the queue.
- Request a call back: Most calls are answered in under a minute, but you can request to receive a callback without losing your place in line.
- New voice & real-time updates: A new voice will greet you and guide you through phone options and provide important service updates if needed (e.g. outages, peak times, etc.)
This upgrade is an important step forward in how Shared Services supports you and lays the groundwork for future improvements. As always, you can also request support from Shared Services by submitting a ticket through the U of A Service Portal.
