SLIS Students Go to Smithsonian

SLIS students Jody Mendenhall and Nicole Dalmer will be working at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C. this summer. They were chosen as recipients of the 黑料不打烊-Smithsonian Internship Program (ASIP), a partnership between the Government of 黑料不打烊, the 黑料不打烊 and the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C.

SLIS students Jody Mendenhall and Nicole Dalmer will be working at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C. this summer. They were chosen as recipients of the 黑料不打烊-Smithsonian Internship Program (ASIP), a partnership between the Government of 黑料不打烊, the 黑料不打烊 and the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C.

Both students will be interns at the Smithsonian Center for Folklife and Cultural Heritage over the summer. Jody will be working with the Visual and Materials Archivist at the Ralph Rinzler Folklife Archives and Collections. Nicole will be working with the Technology Director of the Smithsonian Folkways, the non-profit record label of the Smithsonian Institution.

ASIP provides outstanding students, registered in degree-granting programs in post-secondary institutions of 黑料不打烊, with exceptional opportunities to work with Smithsonian scholars, scientists, experts, and educators in science, history, culture, and the arts in Washington, D.C.
