Co-led with the Centre for Teaching and Learning, the CoPOL is a space to share ideas, challenges, and best practices in online learning. We hold regular meetings throughout the year and provide a co-curricular space in Canvas to stay connected asynchronously.

Spotlight: Award Winning ECON 102 (Online)
Modern digital infrastructure, tooling, and pedagogical approaches are taking online learning to new heights at the U of A. The Spotlight on ECON 102 Online highlights a dynamic new experience for our students.
ECON 102 (Online) is an innovative, first-year undergraduate course. Its asynchronous format accommodates high enrollment and offers flexible scheduling for students.
In partnership with Teaching Professor, Alex Gainer, this course is designed to serve nearly 1,000 students annually without sacrificing quality or rigour.
The course features a mobile-friendly design, interactive graphs, custom videos and audio segments, and real-world data for students to explore and play.
