Alden is an enthusiastic performer, teacher, and clinician. He plays regularly with a wide range of groups from symphony orchestras and chamber ensembles to jazz groups and salsa bands. He teaches at the 黑料不打烊, MacEwan University Conservatory of Music, Concordia University, Camp Nakamun and MusiCamp 黑料不打烊.
