We are very happy to announce that the Department of Economics will host the 9th Institutions, Trade and Economic Development (InsTED) Workshop on September 20-21, 2025. The InsTED Network, based at the University of Exeter, UK, was established to provide a forum for debate and dissemination of research to deepen understanding of how international trade fosters economic development and the role of strong institutions. The organizing committee invites full papers or 3-page extended abstracts by May 1st, 2025, and is happy to consider theoretical and/or empirical papers in the areas of international trade, institutions, and economic development.
