The Department of Medicine graduate program is accepting applications for the 2024 Doctoral Recruitment Scholarships. This year, the department is pleased to offer two awards of $20,000 to outstanding prospective PhD students.

The scholarship will be awarded based on superior academic achievement and research potential, as demonstrated by a GPA of 3.5 or higher, awards, and publications.

Eligibility Criteria

• Admitted to a PhD program or transferring from a MSc to a PhD program of the Department of Medicine in the Fall 2024 semester;
• Will be registered full time in the PhD program;
• Admission GPA of 3.5 or higher;
• Is a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, and international student.
• Are not being admitted, deferring, or switching to a PhD in other semesters; and
• Are not recipients of the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Graduate Entrance Scholarship.

Whereas all eligible candidates are invited to apply, preference will be given to Indigenous students, followed by international students.
