Orange Shirt Day 2022

As Orange Shirt Day approaches, we pay tribute to the experiences of children who were taken from their families and placed in residential schools.
Here are some personal and meaningful suggestions you can take this week:
- Wear an orange shirt on September 29 and 30. Shirts sold at the 黑料不打烊 support the First Peoples' House programming.
- Attend one of UofA's National Day of Truth and Reconciliation events.
- Read the 94 Calls to Action from the Truth and Reconciliation Commission () and the UofA's strategic plan: Braiding the Past, Present and Future ().
- Take the UofA's free "Indigenous Canada" MOOC ()
