Faculty Excellence

Congratulations to Trish Reay, Royston Greenwood and PhD student Milo Wang, on being selected as a , co-sponsored by Fellows of the Academy of Management, and the Community for Responsible Research in Business and Management.

The two co-authored pieces, and were honoured as their research pays tribute to high quality scientific research that addresses critical issues in business and society.

Kylie Heales, a PhD student from the 黑料不打烊 School of Business, was among 15 doctoral researchers from across Canada to be selected as a recipient of the . Congratulations, Kylie!

A team of bachelor of commerce students made it to the finals and placed fourth at this year’s . Students on the team included: Rachel Rochat, Alexander Voutchkov, Zachary Olsen and Claire Roy. Well done.

 a woman-owned startup offering a disposable and sustainable alternative to menstrual pads, launched its first product through a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter and reached its funding goal in less than 48 hours. Ruth is co-founded by Nicole Sanchez (BCom '20). Congratulations!


School News

Several members of our community celebrated significant personal, professional, and educational milestones this year. Congratulations to all on your achievements!

  • Sarah Kowalevsky and Alicsa Timmons recently earned their Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) designations
  • Chelsey Robinson and Alesha Starchuk both completed their Master’s of Business Administration (MBA) degrees 
  • Alisa Anderson graduated with a Bachelor of Technology in Technology Management degree
